This course seeks to address the technical, spiritual and at times poetic nature of Chinese painting. Explore the qualities of lightness and simplicity in Chinese brush painting as you learn techniques passed down through the centuries. As you progress from drawing fruits, flowers, lotus, goldfish and bamboo to landscapes, discover the role each plays in Chinese culture.

Chinese Brush Painting - Autumn Flowers   
Central Coast Community College

Use traditional techniques of single brush stroke and double colour loading with bamboo brush, to paint flowers of the season, as well as butterflies and Australian flora.
