Over 8 weeks you will begin to uncover the methods and processes used by artists for hundreds of years. This class will help you to understand the basic elements and techniques of drawing, particularly figure drawing. Drawing materials and how to use them will also be explained and demonstrated. Drawn From Life offers casual life drawing sessions every week. These sessions are open to all regardless of your level of experience. A professional life model and a friendly atmosphere make for an enjoyable time whilst honing your drawing skills. The cost includes the model fee, paper & easels but you will need your own drawing materials. The studio is located in the Metro Arts building, Room 4.2. The classes run every Wednesday night from 7-9 pm.
