Come to this this relaxed class to make yourself or your loved ones a quilt to treasure. Your experienced tutor will teach you the basicskills of patchwork, designing your own blocks, American and English hand piecing, together with machine piecing and applique.

Create a family heirloom as you make a beautifully crafted sampler quilt. Learn about colour and design, piecing, appliqué, drafting and how to assemble and finish your quilt. By the end of the course you will have a small finished quilt top and have learnt techniques for machine or hand quilting.

Our experienced tutor will give you step-by-step instructions to complete a "One Block Star" quilt so that, at the end of your course, you will understand how to cut and piece a quilt. Please bring your own sewing machine.
