Tapas can be simply or gourmet! It can be divided into three main categories depending on how easy it is to eat. Things to nibble (Cosas de picar) includes finger food. Anything that can be easily picked up with the finger and the thumb with nothing more than a paper napkin. Things to pick up with a toothpick (Pinchos). Pinchos are simple dishes that require the use of a toothpick. These are food items which are served in dishes and require a fork or spoon to be eaten. Although most items are generally saucy and served with bread to mop up the sauces it can include any typical Spanish dish. Recipe book included in course fee. Pay tutor $35 first session for ingredients. No concession.

They come in many different forms, can vary from town to town & may be cold or warm. The serving of tapas is designed to encourage conversation because you are not so focused on eating an entire meal set before you. Learn to prepare mouth watering sweet and savoury recipes such as Tortilla Espanola, Shrimp in Garlic, Piedmontese Peppers, Frittata, and Chicken & Guacamole wraps. Please bring apron, tea towels, medium container with lid & $20 for ingredients to the first lesson.
