The course is designed to lead students easily and gently into reading original ancient Greek texts and to provide the grammatical expertise and vocabulary to enable this to be done confidently. From the earliest lessons, short passages of original Greek by ancient authors (poets and prose writers, as well as selections from the New Testament) are introduced alongside the narrative stories of the course.
