Sydney - Inner West160 Missenden Road, Newtown Modern Hebrew is spoken by over 7 million people throughout the Middle East and is the official language of Israel. This is a beginners level course and no prior knowledge of the language is required. Modern Hebrew 101 will introduce the foundations of the language through teaching a balance of all four macro skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing), however the main focus will be on speaking and listening skills. Modern Hebrew 102 (Level 1)
The University of Sydney
Sydney - Inner West160 Missenden Road, Newtown Level 102 builds on the knowledge learnt in the 101 (Beginners) course, concentrating further on developing speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. It exposes students to a variety of genres and provides them with opportunities to communicate in Hebrew both orally and in writing in everyday situations. It also exposes them to various aspects of Israeli culture. This course is suitable for those who have completed Modern Hebrew 101 or who have completed 20 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.
