This course is an introductory course designed for the beginners' level and assumes no prior knowledge of the Turkish language.

It aims at a balanced development of proficiency in the three skills of listening, reading and speaking through the use of printed and audio-visual materials. The course emphasizes communication and comprehension skills, while introducing basic grammatical structures of the language along with vocabulary building and pronunciation in context.

After completing this course, students will be able to advance to the next level. Throughout the course, the students will be presented with learning opportunities for increasing their knowledge of Turkish culture.

Level 1B

This course is an introductory course designed for the beginners level. It requires for students completing the course "Level 1A" or to achieve satisfactory results in the placement test.

It aims further development of proficiency in three skills of listening, reading, speaking and building basic writing skills through the use of printed and audio-visual materials. The course emphasizes communication and comprehension skills, while introducing basic grammatical structures of the language along with vocabulary building and pronunciation in context.

After completing this course, students will be able to advance to the level 2A. Throughout the course, the students will be presented with learning opportunities for increasing their knowledge of Turkish culture.

Level 2A

This course is designed for the students who have completed Level 1 successfully or achieved satisfactory results in the placement test.

It aims at a balanced development of proficiency in the four skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing through the use of printed and audio-visual materials. The course emphasizes communication and comprehension skills, while introducing basic grammatical structures of the language along with vocabulary building and pronunciation in context.

After completing this course work, students will be able to advance to the level 2B. Throughout the course, the students will be presented with learning opportunities for increasing their knowledge of Turkish culture.

This course is designed for the students who have completed the "Turkish Level 2A" successfully or to achieve satisfactory results in the placement test.

The course emphasizes communication and comprehension skills, while introducing basic grammatical structures of the language along with vocabulary building and pronunciation in context.
