Kayaking - Bundeena Beaches and Royal National Park St George & Sutherland Community College

Enjoy coastal paddling along glorious stretches of sandy beaches and into the Royal National Park. With an experienced guide at hand learn about the plants and animals that call the water and bush home. Stop off for a delicious morning tea before the return trip. All gear basic technique guidance and morning tea provided Our main base is in the Bonnie Vale picnic grounds in Bundeena. If arriving by ferry we are a leisurely 15 minute walk from the wharf. If driving turn at the second street on your left in Bundeena. Please note that the picnic grounds are a part of the Royal National Park. To avoid paying a park entry fee you will need to park your car outside the gate to Bonnie Vale and walk to the water (about 100 metres). Please wear warm clothing and bring along a towel water bottle and a change of clothes.

 

Kayaking - Fitness Sessions - PaddleFIT St George & Sutherland Community College

Get fit in a fun and adventurous way! First session covers basic paddling instruction followed by leisurely paddling and technique and strength building activities. Suitable for beginners and/or seniors and intermediate paddlers of all ages with no or limited paddling experience. All participants must be competent swimmers and in reasonably fit condition. Please bring a hat sun glasses sunscreen towel bottle of water and change of clothes snacks and a pen and paper. If cold weather is expected please bring a warm top preferably woollen. Strictly no refunds for non attendance as kayak provision is included in course cost.

 

Kayaking - Learn to Kayak Session St George & Sutherland Community College

This session will give you a perfect start into the popular sport of kayaking. Includes 1 hour of instruction on technique and safety with qualified instructor followed by 1 hour of unguided kayak hire where you can practice your new skills. Includes the use of kayak paddle personal floatation device and notes. Pre-requisite: No previous paddling experience is necessary however all participants must be competent swimmers and reasonably fit. Strictly no refunds for non attendance as organisation of catering and kayak provision is included in course cost. Our main base is in the Bonnie Vale picnic grounds in Bundeena.
