Competent Crew Chardonnay Coast Sailing

Teaches the basics of sailing and handling a cruising yacht. Courses are fully catered live aboard for five days. You will learn how to set sails, steer, use safety equipment rope work and sail in Geographe Bay. You will receive an RYA log book and certificate on successful completion. this is a practical course and you will live a board a 40 foot yacht for five days or three weekends. Competent Crew Weekender Flying Fish Australia

One of three weekends in Sydney. This course runs over three weekends. It follows the same syllabus as our five day course, leading to the RYA/YA Competent Crew certificate. The weekend starts and finishes at Middle Harbour Yacht Club. You will practice your skills in Sydney Harbour and offshore (weather permitting). On Saturday there is a short night sail where you will experience the many lights used for nighttime navigation. We usually spend the rest of the night on anchor in one of Sydney\\\'s many little coves or alongside the marina in the yacht club. The course is for beginners and those who would like to become active crew members, rather than just passengers. We teach you personal safety, seamanship and helmsmanship.

RYA Coastal Skipper Chardonnay Coast Sailing

This is a practical sailing course on board a 40 foot Beneteau cruising yacht. You will learn advanced yacht handling, navigation and passage making together with night pilotage and skippering techniques. It is a five day program based out of Bunbury and cruises to Busselton, Fremantle or Mandurah and return as part of the program. All meals are provided for on board.

This is a practical sailing course on board a 40 foot Beneteau cruising yacht. You will learn advanced yacht handling, navigation and passage making together with basic skippering techniques. Spend a day on Sydney Harbour as you learn the fundamental principles of Sailing. Suitable for beginners, as well as those with some previous experience, this course offers practical instruction in; manoeuvring under sail, safety at sea, sailing termi­nology, sailing rules, basic navigation, knots and more.
