The Certificates in Spoken and Written English (CSWE) are for people learning English as a second language to obtain and improve their English language skills. The coursework develops listening, speaking, reading and writing by exploring communication in Australian culture. Classes are small and the learning environment is informal and friendly. There are five levels according to your English proficiency, from Preliminary level to Certificates I, II, III and IV. The course is free for both permanent residents and students eligible for the AMEP program. For non-eligible students the fee is $720 per term (includes curriculum workbook).
