This course is specifically designed for students whose first language is not English. Students will learn Conversational and Spoken English skills, look at the difference between formal and informal spoken language and many of the Australian 'slang' or colloquial terms used in our culture. This is a great opportunity for non-native English speakers to obtain intensive speaking practice and to understand English in various social situations. The course is free for both permanent residents and students eligible for the AMEP program. For non-eligible students the fee is $185 per term.
