COMPUTER ESSENTIALS FOR BEGINNERS

This nationally-accredited course is ideal for those who want to learn the basics of operating a personal computer and computer terminology as well as Microsoft Windows, computer file management and saving one´s work. Our skilled trainer will patiently take you through the fundamentals of using a computer in a step-by-step process and guide you to learn to use a personal computer demonstrating what you can do effectively on a computer. The course involves practice and is definitely a hands-on course!

CHCCS303A PROVIDE PHYSICAL ASSISTANCE WITH MEDICATION

Students who complete this course will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment. You will gain the skills and knowledge required by care or support workers to distribute and administer prescribed medications within a residential care facility under supervision.

The Statement of Attainment can be used for receiving recognition towards the Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care Work. This course will run over 2 days, 4 hours each session.

This course is suitable for creative cake-makers who may have completed a beginners cake-decorating course. The course is designed for people with a good basic knowledge of computers but perhaps limited knowledge of the Office package. This course will teach participants the basics of how to create an e-mail account and search whatever subject, destination or site you are keen on; the course will open for you the window of information available via the Internet and show you how easy it is to communicate electronically. Get on board the search engine experience and Google and Yahoo your way to the zillion web destinations available on the World Wide Web (www). Learn to surf the net, get in touch with friends, family and loved ones wherever they may be without needing a stamp or paying telephone bills. BODY WAXING WORKSHOP

Learn and practise the different techniques for hot and strip wax on the legs, underarms, bikini area and face. Brazilian waxing will also be covered, as will hygiene and safety precautions. This accredited course will teach you the basics of operating an MYOB accounting package. OASIS WORKSHOP #5 — APPLYING FOR A SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION POSITION

Have you seen a position advertised to work in a school administration and not known where to find the application, how to complete the application and what the terms EEO, EAPS and OH&S refer to? This workshop covers how to download and complete an application, address the essential criteria outlined in the advertisement, write a resume/CV, the interview process and what to do at an interview. If you have a CV or resume, bring it along on a floppy disk or a paper copy.
