Practise impromptu speech making, proposing a vote of thanks, introducing a guest, preparing and delivering speeches. Emphasis will be placed on overcoming nervousness and the development of self-confidence. The last class, which will be on a Monday night, will be conducted at a Toastmasters Club meeting (to be discussed in class).
