CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)

For anyone wanting to enter the ever-growing disability sector, this could be the qualification you’ve been seeking. Learn to provide support that is focused on each individual, implementing care plans personalised for their needs. Be better able to provide care in community or residential settings, empowering and supporting people living with disability to live their best lives. Combining practical, technical and procedural knowledge, you’ll graduate with an understanding of the concepts and practices of person-centered support. This course is the pre-requisite for CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support.

You’ll gain valuable professional experience through a 120 hour work placement which will allow you to put your theoretical learning into practice.


Study Modes and Times

On-campus (day) – Study face to face (in a classroom setting)
    1 day per week: 9:30am – 4:00pm
Virtual Training Room (day or night) – Study in real time online with instructor-led sessions via video conferencing, supplemented with guided activities via the Learning Management System (eLearning)
  • 1 day per week: 9:30am – 4:00pm
  • 1 night per week: 5:30pm – 9:00pm

NB: All study modes require students to undertake additional activities, including research activities, reflections and assessments via the Learning Management System (LMS).
