Alternatively you may have a project you would like to start but just need the inspiration and encouragement. Enjoy the company of others while receiving tuition and helpful tips to complete your project. If machine piecing a sewing machine with quarter inch foot is required.

Whether you are a beginner or wanting to learn new techniques this workshop will cater for those wanting to learn patchwork applique hand or machine quilting. Work on your own projects at your own pace in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. First session will be for two hours to discuss requirements for following sessions which are four hours each. Create a family heirloom as you make a beautifully crafted sampler quilt. Learn about colour and design, piecing, appliqué, drafting and how to assemble and finish your quilt. By the end of the course you will have a small finished quilt top and have learnt techniques for machine or hand quilting.
