Sample Activity Schedule
This weekly schedule is designed to strengthen students’ English language skills through a balanced combination of revision, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, pronunciation, and functional English activities. Students will participate in CORE classes, Active8 skill-building sessions, revision tests, and homework review activities to reinforce learning, improve communication skills, and build confidence in using English in academic and everyday situations.

Students develop essential skills in speaking, writing, reading, listening, grammar, and vocabulary while building confidence through guided practice exams, pronunciation activities, and targeted test-taking strategies.

Students develop speaking confidence and expand vocabulary through guided discussions, pronunciation practice, and interactive language-building activities.

Application Practice – Speaking Part 2
This session provides practical speaking exercises focused on IELTS Speaking Part 2, helping students improve fluency, structure responses, and build confidence in extended speaking tasks.

Feedback of Speaking Focus on Pronunciation
Students receive personalised feedback on speaking performance with a focus on pronunciation, clarity, fluency, and effective verbal communication techniques.
Optional Extras
Intermediate English language level or above
Minimum IELTS of 5.0 or equivalent
Student visa, Working Holiday visa or Visitor visa
Verifiable results of a standardised English test or the BROWNS Online Placement Test
Age: 16 and over
There is no pass or fail in IELTS. Candidates are graded on their performance, using scores from 1 to 9 for each part of the test – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The results from the four parts then produce an Overall Band Score.
Each band corresponds to a level of English competence. All parts of the test and the Overall Band Score can be reported in whole and half bands, eg 6.5, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0.
If you do not achieve your target IELTS score, BROWNS will guarantee you a free IELTS Preparation course (same number of weeks as your original booking).
Conditions Apply:
Study BROWNS’ IELTS Exam Preparation course for a minimum of 10 weeks
Take the BROWNS Online Pre-Entry Test (BOPT) prior to enrolling; or provide verifiable IELTS results as proof of level
Receive approval of your target IELTS score from the BROWNS Academic Management team
Diligently follow BROWNS’ recommended study plan
Maintain 100% attendance and complete all IELTS mock tests as scheduled
Redeem the offer within 1 month of graduating from the BROWNS IELTS Exam Preparation course
