This course helps students build confidence in everyday English communication while improving listening skills for understanding spoken language in social and study contexts. Learners will develop reading skills to understand practical texts such as notices, instructions, emails, and short articles.
Students will also improve their writing skills for clear everyday communication, including emails, forms, and short reports. The course focuses on building useful vocabulary for daily life, work, and vocational study environments, while strengthening grammar and sentence structure for more accurate spoken and written English.
Computer Skills & Equipment
Students on this course require computer access for learning purposes and to complete course assessments. As such, learners must have beginner/intermediate computing skills including use of Microsoft Office programmes, in addition to hardware requirements of a desktop or portable computer with keyboard, pointing device, speaker, web camera and microphone, and a broadband internet connection.
