The General English programme develops your English language and communication skills, giving you the confidence and ability to function in everyday situations. Through a communicative approach, you will practise your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. There are also many opportunities to learn these skills in a variety of ‘real-life’ situations. You will also be able to improve your pronunciation and develop your grammar and vocabulary range.

To improve English effectively, you need a balance of structured study and cultural integration. Our Classic programme is the perfect foundation to study in a supportive environment while still having plenty of time to travel, explore the city and immerse yourself in the local culture.
Optional Extras
The course includes 20 lessons (15 hours) per week along with a placement test to assess each student’s language level before starting. Students receive important pre-course guidance, an online or in-person welcome induction, and monthly progress assessments with feedback discussions from their teacher.
Additional benefits include weekly free classes and conversation clubs, social programme activities, and access to free online Masterclass webinars and workshops. Students are provided with coursebooks and learning materials, full access to an online learning platform, and a welcome bag with free goodies. The program also offers discounts at selected local shops and attractions, an end-of-course certificate, enrolment into the EP Alumni higher education and university network, and assistance with applications for partner higher education scholarships.
By the end of the course, students will be able to speak English more confidently and fluently, apply their new language skills in real-life situations, and communicate more naturally across different cultures.
