This component focuses on developing the academic skills needed for further study. Students learn about cultural and academic expectations, effective note-taking and research techniques, and reading strategies such as skimming and scanning for key information.
The course also helps students build academic writing skills, including essay writing, and develop confidence in delivering oral presentations in academic settings.
