This qualification is designed for specialist demolition workers and is aimed at team leaders, supervisors, project managers and project engineers who will oversee teams of workers undertaking specialist demolition work on large industrial or commercial structures of building exceeding 15 metres in height. This course is required by persons employed as a demolition or site supervisor. The course will consist of both classroom and workplace-based training.
The Australian construction industry requires that skills are to be undertaken in a real or closely simulated workplace environment, therefore competency units will be delivered in this context.
The course will be provided as a blended delivery with the theory component being conducted in person or online and practical components are completed on your worksite. Practical assessments and logbooks are required for verification of competency for subjects in this course.
