Diploma of Beauty Therapy

This course is only available to Victorian residents.

The Diploma of Beauty therapy is for individuals who wish to provide a broad range of advanced beauty therapy treatments and services. This course is fully-subsidised for domestic, onshore students via the Victorian Government’s Skills First initiative.

This qualification is ideal for people who are seeking management positions, those who wish to work independently as freelancers or obtain in-house roles in a spa or salon.

Students will learn how to communicate with clients and recommend treatments, services as well as sell retail skin care and cosmetic products.

Entry requirements
Completion of year 11 or equivalent (Subject to the assessment and approval of Baxter Institute Admission team); Applicants must be 17 years of age and above (Students under the age of 18 years require the signed consent of a parent or guardian to enrol in this qualification); To assist prospective students to determine whether a course is suitable and appropriate for their individual needs, Baxter Institute will conduct a Pre-Training Review and LLN test; This course is only available to Australian citizens and permanent residents in the state of Victoria.
