Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Pathway
The Diploma of Government (Policy) is the program for individuals that have made a meaningful impact in the public sector. This comprehensive program assesses and recognises your experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating government policies.
Through RPL, you gain recognition for your prior work on policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, policy implementation, program evaluation, risk management, and strategic planning.
RPL allows you to achieve nationally recognised qualifications by converting your existing skills, knowledge, and experience—gained through previous work or study—into formal competencies. This means you can earn qualifications simply by providing evidence of your relevant expertise.
The process can be completed in as little as a week, though it typically takes between 2 weeks – 3 months, depending on the evidence provided. If you have difficulty gathering evidence or prefer additional support, we can streamline the process through interviews and observations.
