Learn how to assist an anaesthetist and prepare a patient for their anaesthetic with the Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology (HLT57915). This nationally recognised qualification is delivered in a simulated clinical ward using all the latest medical equipment and machines. Over 2.5 years you will learn how to prepare clients for anaesthesia, monitor their vital signs while anaesthetised, assist with clinical procedures, and respond to anaesthesia related emergencies. The course also covers: medical terminology, infection controls, WHS, ethics, and stress management.
