About Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts

The Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts (ACPA) in Brisbane offers a unique "performance-first" training environment where Indigenous and non-Indigenous students prepare for careers in dance, music, and acting. By blending modern techniques with First Nations cultural expression, the college provides a "home away from home" that balances professional industry connections with intensive personal support for mental health and academics. This hands-on approach—highlighted by collaborations with major partners like the Brisbane Festival—ensures that 90% of graduates successfully transition into the workforce or advanced education, making it a premier choice for aspiring artists seeking a nurturing yet high-achieving community.
