Working closely with a researcher, you'll gain practical experience in designing and executing experiments or field studies, and analysing and visualising data in ways specific to your field of study.

Physics Major
Undertake this field of study and you can choose to concentrate on theoretical or experimental studies, such as the nature of time or the origin of the universe.

Or you may decide to apply your knowledge to practical areas and develop advanced materials, electronic and optical devices. The flexibility is yours.

When you undertake honours, you'll be equipped to work as part of a research team in a semi-autonomous manner. You'll learn to identify key questions, plan experiments, acquire new techniques and interpret the results.
