The HLTAHA030 Assist with Basic Foot Care unit equips participants with the skills and knowledge to provide basic foot care, including skin and nail care, and applying dressings, padding, and cushioning under the supervision of a registered podiatrist. This unit is designed for Allied Health Assistants and must be performed under direct, indirect, or remote supervision and delegation of a registered podiatrist.
