The AHC31016 Certificate III in Parks and Gardens is a nationally recognised qualification covering the skills and knowledge relating to the parks and gardens industry.
This may include infrastructure installation, maintenance or renovation of a public space, landscape maintenance, green space establishment and recreational developments for public or private gardens.
Core offers all students the opportunity to obtain recognition of their existing skills and knowledge gained through their relevant job experience. This means you only train in areas that you are not currently familiar with and can reduce the duration of your course significantly.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however it is recommended you have basic knowledge of horticultural principles.
Who Should Do this Course? This course is open entry however, students enrolling into this course will be required to undertake a Literacy & Numeracy Indicator prior to commencement of the course. This allows our trainers to identify any strengths and where additional support may be required. Students will also be required to have access to a computer and an internet connection to undertake their study and assessment.
