This course is aimed at preparing students for a Certificate IV or Diploma course in Sport, Recreation or Fitness, or for those wishing to enter the industry at a level appropriate to their skills and knowledge. It is now available at the Brisbane, Southport and Coolangatta campuses.
At this level students are learning not just about the industry, but how to assist others in learning about the Industry. For example students are designing programs, learning teaching or coaching skills, and how to work towards entry into the industry at Instructor or Coach Level in the future, or entry into a course at that level (Cert IV or Diploma).
