HLT43015 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance

Build a rewarding career assisting allied health professionals to improve the wellbeing of others.

Allied health covers a diverse range of fields from audiology and occupational therapy to counselling and physiotherapy. As a qualified allied health assistant, you will have the skills and opportunity to aid other medical professionals in these vital and rewarding areas.

Health care and social assistance remains both the largest and fastest-growing industry in the country with over 1.5 million people currently employed (data from Job Outlook). This means completing an allied health assistant qualification can propel you onto a stable and secure career pathway.

Working alongside allied health professionals, you will provide valuable support for patients every day, helping to diagnose, treat and prevent a wide range of illnesses and conditions. No two days are the same for those working in this field, as you’ll need to adapt to each patient’s unique needs – and you’ll also enjoy the fulfilling feeling that comes with helping people maintain or improve their wellbeing.

The HLT43015 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance is a nationally recognised 12-month qualification that will prepare you for a successful career in allied health, ensuring you have the necessary practical skills and theoretical knowledge to thrive in the health and community sector. This allied health qualification is ideal for all-rounders and students who don’t wish to specialise in one area such as nutrition/dietetics and occupational therapy.

The theoretical components of our allied heath assistant courses are delivered online, so you can study from anywhere, anytime. The program also includes 120 hours of practical work placement with a qualified allied health professional, providing you with the hands-on experience to graduate with a strong understanding and enter your first real-world role with confidence.
