According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, the number of people working in construction management roles has been growing very strongly and is likely to see strong growth in the future. It is anticipated there will be around 54,000 job openings in this area over the next five years, ensuring your skills will be in high demand.
In this course you will learn how to prepare cost estimates, audit project costs, and administer contracts. Gain skills in planning project timetables and material ordering schedules, and learn how to adapt project schedules to delays or unforeseen circumstances. You will also gain knowledge of building codes, standards, and structural principles relating to low-rise residential and commercial buildings.
Completion of this course will give you the skills and confidence to manage complex costing and planning tasks as a building estimator or building scheduler.
