Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is suitable for people working in a WHS role who may or may not work under supervision. They may provide guidance and leadership to others whilst having limited responsibility for others; includes co-ordinators, advisors and facilitators.
Work Health Safety (WHS) is more than just safety, it also covers the overall well-being of workers in all environments, risk analysis and ensuring workers are able to resume work following injuries.
Forsythes Training can deliver the WHS training program via our immersive online virtual classroom, face to face public scheduled programs in Newcastle or as a dedicated training event.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Forsythes Training requires our certificate IV WHS attendees to be currently employed and have access to a work environment where they can access workplace documents, implement feedback and changes in controls.
If you are currently unemployed you would need a letter from a past employer or a company detailing the above “workplace” access.
