Course in Electrician - Minimum Australian Context Gap
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course provides Minimum Australian Context Gap training to holders of an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) for the UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor).
On successful completion of this course and sufficient supervised employment, participants may apply to the relevant Australian state and territory licensing authority for an unrestricted Electrician Licence (or equivalent).
Participants will also be eligible to apply for UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor) with the Registered Training Organisation responsible for issuing the OTSR.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- hold an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) for a UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor)
- hold a provisional/restricted licence issued by the regulatory authority responsible for regulating electrical work and licensing of workers in the jurisdiction where the training will take place.
- be engaged (employed) as an electrical worker or have access to a workplace environment that replicates workplace conditions
- hold a certificate of currency for resuscitation (CPR) within the last twelve months and can provide a certificate of currency.
