UEE50220 Diploma of Electrical and Instrumentation

This course is only available in QLD, NSW and TAS.

The UEE50220 Diploma of Electrical and Instrumentation is a new qualification that supersedes UEE50211. It provides students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in instrumentation, PID Controlers, HMI's, Control Valves, PLC programming, microcontrollers and specification writing.

This qualification covers competencies to develop, select, install, commission, maintain and diagnose faults/malfunctions on electrical, instrumentation and control equipment and systems.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible to undertake the course you must currently hold a UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician OR a current ‘Unrestricted Electricians Licence’ or its equivalent issued in an Australian state or territory.

If students do not have an Unrestricted Electrical Licence but still wish to do some or all units of competency that are part of this qualification, they will be issued a Statement of Attendance (after Meo Training analized the situation and considered that the student has sufficient prior knowledge to attend the unit(s)).
