Develop strong leadership skills to uphold the ethical, legislative and compliance requirements of the public sector, which are critical to any role within the public sector.

According to the Australian Government's MySkills service, there is stable future growth predicted for people working as policy and planning managers. There are likely to be around 15,000 job openings in this ares over the next five years.

During this course, designed for prospective and existing public servants, you will develop advanced leadership skills in manage performance, conflict resolution, communications and working within a policy/procedure framework. You will augment your knowledge in respect to public sector values and will learn to conduct research and analysis, and implement risk management procedures and policies.

Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work within the public service sectors in a range of positions, including supervisory positions such as the management of policy, operations, customer service, complaints, projects, risk and compliance.
