According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, the number of people working as interior designers grew very strongly over the past five years. The industry is projected to see strong growth in the future with around 7,000 job openings expected over the next five years.
Explore and creatively apply the design process to the development of 2D and 3D forms and use computer-aided design (CAD) applications to produce digital models for interior design projects. You'll learn how to work with a client to develop and negotiate a design brief, determine lighting requirements, create colour schemes, and formulate creative design solutions for interior residential spaces.
