Operate Breathing Apparatus
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) The MSMWHS216 Operate Breathing Apparatus provides training in safely operating and maintaining breathing apparatus and equipment in environments where the air is not suitable for breathing, according to AS/NZS 1715:2009 standards. The unit covers skills and knowledge necessary to use breathing apparatus in confined spaces, with hazardous gases/vapours, or in oxygen-deficient atmospheres. It applies to individuals who may work alone or as part of a team, coordinating with shift members and control room operators as needed.Delivery mode
