Venous Blood Collection Skill Set
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This comprehensive nationally endorsed skill set incorporates the Perform Venous Blood Collection.
This skill set provides the skills and knowledge required to confirm collection requirements, prepare clients and equipment, and perform blood collections safely and effectively using venous blood collection. This skill set applies to any individual for whom blood collection is part of the job role. They may be working in collection centres, in hospitals or in other health clinical environments. Collections will include adults of varied ages and genders, adolescents and children over 5 years of age.
Our training is unique in offering the required 35-hour practical skills placement with our industry practical training partner QML Pathology.
