Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission to this course, an applicant must have—

• a UWA bachelor's degree with a major in MJD-ENGSC Engineering Science¹ or Bachelor of Automation and Robotics; or
• a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognized by UWA; and
  • the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 65 per cent; and
  • prior studies in engineering, physics, or mathematics;
• completed units in the Master of Professional Engineering Preliminary course at UWA as prescribed by the Faculty; or
• completed a UWA Diploma in Science with a major in MJD-ENGSC Engineering Science¹

¹Students are required to achieve a course weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent in their bachelor's degree or a weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent in the Level 3 units of the Engineering Science major.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

English competency

English is the language of instruction and assessment at UWA, and you will need to meet the English language requirements of the University to be eligible for a place.

Minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0.
