Industrial Chemist Courses
Industrial Chemists are scientific professionals who use chemical compounds (and apply chemical theory and processes) to manufacture products on an industrial scale. Their skills can be applied to a wide range of consumer and industrial products including pharmaceutical drugs, paints, textiles, beauty products, plastics, electronics, oils and lubricants, adhesives, food products, furniture, and much more.
As an Industrial Chemist you could be testing the reactive properties of a natural substance when it is exposed to heat, entering manufacturing data into a structured database, writing a report that includes product specifications for the R&D team at a cosmetics manufacturing company, overseeing the production of a sustainable textile, investigating the chemical structure and nutritional benefits of an indigenous food plant, or attending an international conference for Industrial Chemists and manufacturing professionals.
