A Diploma of Remedial Massage is suitable for students seeking careers as remedial massage therapists who work with clients presenting with soft tissue dysfunction, musculoskeletal imbalance or restrictions in range of motion (ROM). Practitioners may be self-employed or work within a larger health service. As well as remedial massage techniques and physiology, students will learn about establishing client relationships and business skills to develop an ongoing massage practice.
Students will need to complete work placement supervised by qualified staff. Students will attain real-world understandings of the expectations and skills required to work in this field to prepare you for the workforce.
