A Master of Science (Agricultural) will prepare you to tackle the challenges facing contemporary agricultural industries. You’ll learn more about agricultural production processes and explore ways to improve current practices. This course can lead to a career as an agricultural consultant or researcher or you might choose to work in areas such as soil management, climate risk analysis or agricultural technologies. You can focus your studies on research training or conduct a research project.

The Master of Science (Agriculture) explores a range of topics such as agronomy, food security, climate risk, irrigation science and soil mechanics. You’ll look at post-harvest technologies, emerging technologies in agriculture and critical issues in agriculture. If you choose the research training pathway you’ll learn more about research fundamentals and ethics, statistics for quantitative researchers, science in practice and research skills.
