Certificate III in Health Services Assistance

This course gives individuals a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge to provide assistance to health professional staff for the care of patients.

This includes direct patient contact under supervision, supervise and coordinate a small team, clinical cleaning, food preparation and distribution, patient transport, assisting with movement, inventory, waste handling, handling of medical gas cylinders, and MET calls.
