Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation in line with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. It is relevant to workers who may be required to use specialised equipment to provide resuscitation in a range of complex situations, include community and workplace settings.

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to recognise an emergency and provide emergency life support until the arrival of medical or other assistance.
