In an increasingly competitive labour market, the key to gaining and keeping a job can come down to very small differences in the skills and attitudes of job seekers and entry level employees. Employers have expectations of how new staff will perform but often these expectations are only gained from experience in the workplace. This BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills aims to help those with limited workplace experience gain practical skills, in a supportive educational environment, rather than only learning from their limited experience.
In this course we provide a range of essential business skills that almost every employer will expect to find in a new employee. These essential business skills include customer service, workplace health and safety, time management, communication skills and basic computer applications.
By the end of this course, you will have learnt key workplace skills to enable you to perform a wide range of basic business skills and also some essential soft skills required to work well with others, manage your time and communicate in an effective manner.
Macquarie Community College operates from a range of venues across North and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Blacktown, Carlingford, Chatswood, Mt Druitt, Richmond and Ryde.
