In the Diploma of Renewable Energy Engineering, you’ll gain a broad understanding of the industry, with a focus on key technologies in the renewable energy sector, their design and Australia’s transition into green energy. Learn about the renewable energy industry and how to design, develop and implement renewable energy systems and technologies to create a more sustainable future for ourselves and generations to come.
Develop a strong understanding of the foundations of engineering practices, energy storage systems and photovoltaic (PV) systems, and build industry-targeted skills in maths, physics and programming. Graduates of this course are eligible to apply for provisional Clean Energy Council (CEC) accreditation. Students who have completed the TAFE NSW Diploma of Renewable Energy Engineering may receive up to 48 credits (effectively one year of study) with recognition-of-prior learning when progressing a pathway to the UTS Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree.
