Certificate I in English as an Additional Language (EAL) (22638VIC) is an entry-level* course for beginners who wish to learn English. This course is ideal if you are from a non-English speaking background, who would like to improve their English language skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. The course will help you to develop employment and living skills, knowledge of Australian society and strategies for successful transition into work or further study in Australia.
