Certificate II in Security Operations
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The qualification reflects the role of a Security Officer, responsible for maintaining safety and security by patrolling, protecting or guarding property while unarmed, and screening entry, monitoring behaviour, and removing persons from premises.
Employment as a Security Officer may include roles in crowd control, mobile patrol, shopping centres, retail security, festival and event security, hotel security, concierge, and pub and club security.
