This course will give you the skills you need to provide individual care to older people in home, community, residential or health settings. This course will give you the skills needed to coordinate person-centred services for older people, provide support to people living with dementia and assist people with medication in your workplace. You will also learn how to provide support services using a palliative approach, and to people living with chronic diseases. Our highly experienced teaching team of Aged and Community Care specialists provide one-on-one guidance and support you every step of the way to ensure you have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the field.
Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work as an aged care worker, aged care activity worker or as a volunteer coordinator in settings supporting older people.
