Induction to Disability Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Upgrade your current community services qualification with this specialised skill set. This course is perfect for people already working in the health or community services sector looking to further their knowledge to provide person-centred support to people with a disability. Demand for skilled workers in all facets of the community services are growing, particularly with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
You will learn how to listen to and support people with a disability, co-design plans to provide individualised support, use professional communication skills, and work safely across various settings.
