Lead and Mentor Skill Set
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Lead and Mentor Skill Set is ideal for workers with existing experience or qualifications in community services or health sector roles who are seeking to broaden their skills in leading, mentoring, coordinating, supporting and coaching in the community sector.
You will learn how to effectively lead and mentor work teams and gain the skills required to develop, deliver and evaluate mentoring programs for new staff. You will gain skills in leading work teams and learn how to effectively monitor team performance. You will learn the art of self-reflection and gain understanding of the importance of continuous professional development.
The units of study in this Skill Set provide credit towards a range of qualifications in the CHC Community Services Training Package at Certificate IV or Diploma or Advanced Diploma level.
